Propolis

Bees build propolis from tree resin, wax, and their own secretions, then use it to seal gaps and varnish the inside of the hive against bacteria and drafts. It’s some of the hardest material to harvest in an apiary — scraped by hand, frame by frame, in small quantities each season.

We offer it two ways: raw resin for anyone who wants to work with it directly, and a slow alcohol-extracted tincture for easier, measured use. Both carry the same sharp, resinous aroma that’s unmistakably propolis.
